By the Four Witnesses
In a ‘radio drama’ the voices of different people are heard as they take part in a single story. This is how Christians understand the way the story of the Messiah is told in their Scriptures. Thus these contain four different voices – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John – who are considered to be the authoritative ‘witnesses’ to the Gospel – the ‘Good News’ concerning the life and teachings of the Messiah.
This new ‘gospel harmony’, though, is unique in that it is composed to be read aloud by four voices as they take turns proclaiming the Good News of the Messiah. In this way both the readers and the listeners are able to experience the full testimony of the four authoritative witnesses in a fresh way, as the single Gospel message that it is – for all peoples.
